Tarn Moor Memorial Woodland is a natural woodland burial site situated in beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Skipton, the ‘gateway’ to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The site opened in November 2002.
Brocklands
Woodland Burial
Set in the beautiful Ribble Valley in the Yorkshire Dales, Brocklands provide burials for people from all walks of life in a completely natural way.
This means that (as far as possible) nothing artificial is put into or onto the ground, thus preserving and enhancing the landscape and ecology.
Trees and native wildflowers are planted on the graves and the burial ground is already growing into a small woodland, embracing the theme of 'life from death', and serving as a living memory to those buried there.
